Overview

Solution-Focused Therapy takes a positive, future-oriented approach to emotional and behavioural challenges. Instead of analysing problems in-depth, this therapy concentrates on what you want to achieve and the resources you already have to get there. It’s based on the idea that people are naturally resourceful and capable of creating change.

It’s particularly helpful for individuals seeking short-term support, clarity, or quick wins to improve their situation

What Happens in SFT?

Sessions are practical and empowering. You’ll explore your goals, your hopes for the future, and the steps you’ve already taken that might be working. Your therapist will ask “miracle questions” (e.g., “If you woke up tomorrow and your problem was solved, what would be different?”) to help clarify your direction.

You’ll build on small successes and use your own strengths to move forward.
